These are the rules for out of character and for roleplaying. Check back every once in a while, as these are subject to change without notice.

1. No swearing. I have not enabled the censors, thus I'll know if you meant to swear and I can punish you accordingly.

2. No picking fights with anyone OOC. Your characters may fight of course, but please don't take it OOC, and if you must, try to work it out over PMs.

3. Use proper grammar and spelling. It is not honestly that difficult.

4. Please try to post more than a paragraph each time you post. More than two would be great. If you have trouble with this, think about these things: What is my character doing? What are his or her facial expressions? What is he or she thinking or feeling? What part of his or her history relates to what is occuring right now?

5. No godmoding or powerplaying. I.E., no invincible or perfect characters, and no playing anyone's character.

6. Your character must have any special abilities, powers, etc., approved by me.

7. You must write in third person, past tense. I.E., "Sarah rode through Rohan" as opposed to "I am riding through Rohan"

8. Use quotation marks to denote speech, italics for thoughts, and plain text for actions.

9. No extreme violence. Fights are fine, but no blood and guts, or extreme detail. A bloody nose is fine, so is a broken arm from a fight or something, but no gouging out eyeballs with forks.

10. Unless your character is a canon, they must have an original name. I.E., no non-canon Greenleafs or Peredhils or Undomiels. If you wish to have a non-canon with one of these names, please message me.

11. If you must have images in your signature, please don't make them too big. If I judge that they are too large, I will take them out.

12. In the history section of your application, put this phrase: "What's in a name?" It must be the first or last sentence in your character's history.

13. Everyone must post an application, whether I invited you or not. If you do not post an application within a week of joining, your account will be deleted.

14. Do not ask to be a moderator or administrator. I will choose them when I feel necessary.

15. Be realistic in every aspect of your roleplaying. I realize that we live in a fantasy world here, but things happen. People will die, good may not always prevail over evil at first, and people do also not go off and shag twenty-four/seven either. So be realistic, as much as you can be, in our fantasy world.
